NEOcore technology

NEOcore technology is a two-phase cooling technology that was designed to minimize the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the heat sink and simultaneously reducing the Delta T between the heat source and ambient. NEOcore improves the thermal conductivity of aluminum up to 1000 times.

NEOcore technology is based on an integrated 3-in-1 thermal channel that provides an instant thermal flow from the heat source through the thermal channel and fins. The functionality of the thermal channel consists of three parts: an evaporator, a thermal channel, and a condenser. 

1. Evaporator – The working fluid vaporizes in the evaporator and it transfer the heat to the entire structure until it returns to the evaporator as a liquid.

2. Thermal channel –  The heated vapor moves instantly up in the thermal channel. The whole thermal channel structure is used for heat dissipation. NEOcore thermal channels are wickless.

3. Condenser – The optimized condenser functions as an optimal air interface.

NEOcore is a diverse technology platform. The diameter, length and structure of NEOcore based products can be adapted in different cooling cooling solutions based on the specifications.

High-volume production facility

CooliBlade has significantly invested in a mass-production line for NEOcore-based thermal management solutions. Our production investment makes it possible to produce high-quality and cost-efficient products for multiple applications. Product line ramp-up co-funded by European Union will strengthen the company’s entry into the global markets, and it takes place from 03/2022 to 05/2023.

NEOcore consists of an integrated evaporator, thermal channel and condenser. Due to integrated aluminum thermal channel structure, thermal interfaces and losses are minimized. No thermal interface between different metals.

Thermal conductivity

NEOcore two-phase technology provides an instant thermal transfer through the integrated thermal channel. In ideal conditions, thermal conductivity can be even 1000 times better than in aluminum.
