CooliBlade Oy is deploying a new production line that will increase manufacturing capacity tenfold, positioning the company to meet accelerating demand for thermal management solutions across renewable energy, EV charging, telecommunications, and industrial power electronics. The expansion reflects sustained customer growth and the company's readiness to deliver proven cooling technology at enterprise scale.
The project has been developed in close collaboration with two strategic partners. Beckhoff Automation Oy provides the production line's automation software and control systems, enabling flexible, high-precision manufacturing. Mectalent is responsible for the production line's design and assembly, integrating mechanical systems optimized for CooliBlade's thermosyphon-based products. Funding support has been provided in part by the ELY Centre and European Union programs aimed at strengthening industrial capacity and sustainable technology infrastructure.
"Demand for efficient, reliable cooling solutions is rising rapidly. This new production line ensures we can serve customers with higher capacity, shorter lead times, and the same quality standards that have defined CooliBlade from the start. We're not building our first line—we're scaling what we've proven works."
Kimmo Tyni, Vice President of Production at CooliBlade
Ville Hopponen - Managing Director, Beckhoff Automation Oy, adds: "Advanced automation enables flexible, high-quality production at scale. Our control systems integrate seamlessly with CooliBlade's manufacturing processes, providing the precision and adaptability needed to meet diverse customer requirements while maintaining consistent quality across high-volume production."
Aleksi Heikkilä - Sales Director, Mectalent, says: "Designing production systems for innovative thermal technology requires deep understanding of both the product and the manufacturing process. This project combines mechanical engineering precision with scalable production design, positioning CooliBlade to deliver proven cooling solutions at the volumes their growing customer base demands."
